Lunching with Dan Bertram

The 2006 World Junior Hockey tournament is wrapping up as we speak, with Canada taking on Russia for the Gold medal. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend a lunch with the Canadian team at a fundraiser in Kamloops. Feel very fortunate to have sat beside Dan Bertram, #22. Dan is not only one of the best young hockey players in the world, he is also extremely personable. He engaged all our table in conversations and was incredibly friendly to all the youngsters who asked for his autograph as he was eating his lunch. To top it all off, Dan is a student at Boston College, majoring in finance.

Needless to say, I was very impressed with this young man. And, as I watch him and the rest of our team right now, all I can say is " Go Dan Go!".
