Everybody's Working for the Weekend...

I used to love to hum that tune.

Now, I am typically more than likely working on the weekend. I don't really mind though.

I've been working through a great series of articles on the the influence of Oprah Winfrey and Jon Stewart on public opinion and the news. It is hard to believe I'm almost a school year through my MA program in Professional Communications at Royal Roads.

It's also my conference season for 2010. After Northern Voice a couple of weekends ago, heading to New York City to attend the Personal Democracy Forum (PDF) conference. I'm trying to make many friends among other PDF2010 attendees and my first humble offering is this twitter list of conference speakers (talk about a stream of interesting ideas and activities!).
